Spotify will be entitled to a Netflix series. The giant of video streaming
to announce that he was going to produce a narrative about the birth of the Swedish startup that
has finally become one of the world's leading music services.
The series will be inspired by the book Spotify Untold, written by journalists
Sven Carlsson and Jonas Leijonhufvud, and will be produced by
Yellow Bird UK. It will be performed by Per-Olav Sørensen (Quicksand, Home
for Christmas and Nobel) and produced by Berna Levin (Young Wallander, Hidden
and Millennium: What does not kill me).
The program will focus on Spotify co-founders Daniel Ek and
Martin Lorentzon, whose platform revolutionized the music industry in
offering free and legal streaming music. " The history of
way a small group of insiders from the Swedish tech industry
transformed the music, how we listen to it and how it is made,
is really a story for our time Said Berna Levin. " No
only it's a story about how our lives have changed over
of the last decade, but it's also the battle for influence
cultural and financial in a globalized and digitized world. "
For now, Netflix has not announced a casting or date
broadcast for this series.
