The double screen seemed to have gone out of style, but at CES 2019 Nubia launched the Nubia X, a phone that simply seduces you for its genius. If you take it by the main screen, the largest of 6.26 inches, it looks like an ordinary phone, but when you turn it around, a 5.1-inch OLED screen appears, which works perfectly.
The company explains that this second screen placed under a double camera has the objective of letting you look at your reminders, agenda or function as a normal panel, in which you can read better because your eyestrain less, for example.
But an additional trick is that the phone has no front camera, which allows you to reduce the bevels of your main panel. And how do you do selfies? Simple: you turn the phone and you see on the secondary screen, which makes you see yourself in the panel to make your self-portrait and at the same time add something extra: a good quality photograph made with a double camera of 24 + 16 megapixels.
To switch between screens you must press the sides of the phone where two sensors are located, then simply turn it on, and voila, the second screen is already active.
The OLED panel can also be used as a secondary screen to run video game controls, which adds a fun experience in titles such as Pubg Mobile.
Those two side sensors that I mentioned before are also the security mechanism of the device, because they work as fingerprint sensors.
Nubia also launched at CES 2019 the Nubia Red Magic Mars, which will go on sale in the United States this quarter.
