In the following article I present you delicious recipes with sauerkraut. Hot or cold dishes with sauerkraut promise a particularly delicious treat. In addition, it is a herb that has grown against much. It has a high content of natural vitamin C, fiber, is low in calories and is therefore ideal for a conscious and healthy diet.
Sauerkraut with pears
Cook cooked peeled pears, butter and sauerkraut with a little water. Once the water has boiled, add 1 glass of white wine and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with 2-3 cloves, sea salt, lemon juice and sugar until sweet and enjoy lukewarm.
Mix diced ham, chopped onions and sauerkraut. Season with sea salt and coarsely ground pepper. Form the balls into small balls, dip them in a dough mixed with egg, flour and beer and fry in hot fat.
Peel and dice tomatoes dipped in boiling water. Mix with sauerkraut and peeled, thinly sliced pickled cucumbers in marinade of vinegar, sunflower oil, onions, sugar, sea salt and pepper. Garnish with coarsely chopped eggs, pieces of carrot, finely chopped dill and chives.
Russian sauerkraut soup
Boil beef in salted water with a bay leaf and then dice. Cook the sauerkraut with a little stock and mix it with meat cubes in a sweat prepared from butter and flour. Fill with meat stock, refine with black pepper, sour cream and fresh herbs.

Tip: Sauerkraut juice as a natural laxative
Sauerkraut juice is available in the health food store and can be used instead of Glauber's salt as a natural laxative during the fasting cures in autumn and spring.
